About us: 

The Operational Excellence (OE) team supports all key businesses of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) to deliver their Strategic Objectives on Efficiency, Growth, Resilience, Sustainability, Customer and Culture. We do this by supporting Divisional programs and initiatives which move the dial on our objectives, providing insight on opportunities where OE levers can deliver value and supporting the development of our culture to embed OE skills and approaches through coaching, training, and development of our people.

  

Our key pillars of OE capability include Process Intelligence, Process Re-engineering, Process Digitization, and Learning & Capability development.   

 

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, crital thinkers with experience in deploying OE tools and capabilities to transform the performance of operational teams, managing cross functional teams to deliver OE projects, working across multiple service lines simultaneously, coaching and developing the skills and capabilities of operational teams and contributing the development of an internal OE practice.


Responsibilities:

       Work in partnership with cross functional teams, to identify, assess, evaluate, and implement changes to front-to-back business process using Operational Excellence methodologies and tools

       Convert design principles to implementation roadmaps with details risk assessment and process due diligence, considering customer experience at the core

       Work on ideas generated from multiple sources and mobilizes around these ideas to quantify their value, implement the improvements that add the most value to the business through both technology and process re-engineering

       Governs the process from ideation through to implementation and control ensuring project progress is appropriately managed with benefits realized and signed off by the business

       Engages cross functionally with Technology on information exchange, requirement planning; with metrics & reporting teams around data exchange and KPI measurements

 

Essential experience:

       Bachelors degree or equivalent

       Experience delivering cross functional projects and working with tech and operational teams using all levers of OE including opportunity identification, business process improvement, operations management, automation of manual processes, and driving delivery of change to achieve tangible outcomes

       Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvement opportunities

       Experience in managing projects and programmes in a matrix management structure

       Strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead debates with senior leaders on the strategy, approach and plan to deliver tangible business benefits through the transformation of operational processes, operating models and ways of working

 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

 

       Relevant certifications and advantage, e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Change Management, Design thinking etc.

       Working knowledge and experience in identifying intelligent automation opportunities (Robotics Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Process mining, etc.)

       Experience in delivering OE using process transformation, shared service design and implementation, location strategy design and implementation, RPA/Citizen developer design and implementation

       Collaboration and reporting tools - MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word), Tableau, SharePoint, etc.

       Relevant experience with an industry leading consultancy organization would be an advantage

       Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills (preparation and delivery)

       Excellent interpersonal skills, can-do attitude; willingness and eagerness to learn, and drive to get things done

       Ability to plan and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

       High emotional intelligence, resilience and resourcefulness
