Full Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, timely and cost-effective recruitment outcomes for assigned Practice Groups and Business Teams across all our offices in Asia. As a Senior Advisor, you will quickly establish a strong reputation and gain the confidence of stakeholders by consistently providing an outstanding recruitment service. You will be viewed as a trusted advisor on all operational recruitment matters. By developing a deep understanding of your client groups, you will provide valuable commercial insights to your team and actively contribute to the broader talent agenda.

Key Responsibilities

Resourcing

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer negotiation.
  • Work with Partners and Hiring Managers to identify hiring needs and skill sets and determine a resourcing plan to meet the hiring needs
  • Develop and manage candidate talent pools
  • Test validity and comprehensiveness of job descriptions at the start of the recruitment process
  • Explore available resourcing options, to include the employee referral scheme, internal publications, alumni network, internet channels, advertising, and recruitment agencies

Sourcing and attraction strategy

  • Establish innovative sourcing and attraction strategies to attract the right people from the widest pool for each vacancy / recruitment campaign
  • Determine the key selling messages for each area of the firm, aligned with the global recruitment messages
  • Liaise with the Lateral TA Manager to ensure a co-ordinated and consistent approach globally and to share best practices between offices

Selection and assessment

  • Establish strong collaboration with the Recruitment Assistant and Advisors to provide a seamless, high-quality end-to-end candidate experience.
  • Determine and manage the relationships with partner organisations to ensure access to a diverse candidate pool of the highest quality
  • Implement robust, consistent selection and assessment frameworks to enable fair and high-quality hiring decisions across lateral recruitment.
  • Advise on selection tools (including online testing and case studies)
  • Work with hiring managers to establish screening criteria for each role. Interview candidates and provide an independent, competency-based assessment
  • Advise hiring partners on recruitment best practices and diversity awareness
  • Support and constructively challenge hiring managers on selection decisions at interview and offer stage to ensure hiring outcomes are consistent and aligned to firm standards.

Relationship building

  • Develop internal relationships with key stakeholders across the Practice Groups and Business Teams
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our preferred recruitment agencies
  • Develop and maintain a network of external recruitment contacts to keep abreast of good practices and market updates
  • Act as the lead person for all recruitment knowhow issues
  • Share successes and regular updates with the broader HR team

Office skills

  • Able to multi-task effectively
  • Computer literate good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong experience using an online recruitment tool. Prior experience working with Workday and/or Beamery would be a plus.
  • Adopting new tools and technologies (including AI-enabled solutions) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Commercial Skills

  • Commercially aware
  • Comfortable working with data
