The Alternative Lending Product team builds creative new lending products to empower customers to make purchases on their terms.  We are at the forefront of the payments modernization journey, building scalable, resilient, and innovative products which support the growing Connected Commerce portfolio.


As a Vice President Product Manager in the Alternative Lending General Management team, you will lead the Business Readiness, Controls, and Voice of the Customer workstreams which support our complete product portfolio across multiple customer touchpoints.  This primary focus of this role is to support self-service, agent assisted, and Branch operational readiness in preparation for a 0-1 product launch in 2027.   You will work closely with strategy and delivery partners across in these spaces, as well as Legal, Risk, Controls, Compliance, Fraud, Collections, and Alt Lendings Product Operations team.  You will require strong leadership skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to effectively communicate to both human and machine audiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all Operational Readiness activities in preparation for our launch of a new flexible term lending product
  • Create and Manage an evergreen suite of Business Readiness documents including FAQs, Training material, and Controls policies & procedures
  • Own and Manage the Alternative Lending Controls portfolio to ensure our products and people are operating as expected
  • Facilitate a consistent and purposeful feedback loop with support staffs across the Firm to ensure their agents are empowered with the right information to ensure the best customer and agent experience supporting our products
  • Build and manage key relationships with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Compliance
  • Champion operational excellence, including quality management, controls, and compliance with firmwide standards
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive team environment, mentoring and developing product managers and engineers

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in digital product management, financial services, technology, or project management
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner across Product, Technology, and Business teams
  • Experience preparing products for launch and effectively supporting them post launch
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong reasoning, organizational, and presentation abilities
  • Commitment to diversity, opportunity, and inclusion, with experience building and leading high-performing teams

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting cross functional strategic initiatives
  • Experience with Lending products and/or servicing these products
  • Past support and engagement with a call center environment
  • Bachelors Degree
