Securitized Products Servicing and Balance Analyst:

As a Servicing and Balance Analyst in the Securitized Products Middle Office (SPG MO) team, your daily responsibilities will include trade management, risk management and control of over various product lines.  JPMorgan is currently the market leader across these areas and has been a key driver behind the ongoing development of the marketplace.  Daily tasks include: Review of loans, reconciliation of remittance reports, processing of escrow and corporate advances, paydowns, and wire requests.  We promote an inclusive environment and strive to retain our employees who will best represent our customers.  If you have a proactive and detailed oriented  mindset and have a passion for driving solutions while maintaining controls across the organization, you will be a great fit for our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of loan payments and expenses on a monthly basis
  • Review and resolve exceptions/breaks on loans to be able to post to the system
  • Resolve inquiries from the servicers and internal clients(FO/PC/FC)
  • Perform various reconciliations and reporting at deal and business level
  • Ensure compliance with audit, control and quality requirements
  • Adhere to defined policies and procedures to ensure a controlled environment
  • Participate in special projects and department/bank initiatives as necessary

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • College degree in Finance/Accounting or 2-4 years equivalent work experience related to trade support and loan processing
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Highly organized, extremely detailed and control orientated; strong desire to understand the full process/business flow
  • Ability to effectively prioritize to meet the competing demands of Clients and Front Office partners
  • Excellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills; ability to develop relationships across several different client bases
  • Strong PC Skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently (self-motivated and demonstrated leadership abilities) and within a team (strong teamwork skills)
  • Ability to assimilate new products and processes quickly
