As a Trading Services Associate ll within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the seamless execution of trade activities, from order entry to settlement. While still developing, your expertise in market products and understanding of automation technologies will be instrumental in optimizing our trading services. You will be expected to leverage your proficiency in change management and continuous improvement to enhance the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform. Your role will also allow you to keep developing your relationships with internal stakeholders, presenting insights to senior management, and driving process improvements. Your decisions will contribute and impact on short-term team and department goals, and you will often guide others in their work activities, contributing to the overall success of our trading services.

Job responsibilities 
  • Provide proactive, real-time Middle Office support to Credit and Rates Sales/Trading desks across global time zones.
  • Resolve trade-related queries, booking issues, lifecycle events, and client service requests with urgency, transparency, and appropriate escalation.
  • Maintain strong regional stakeholder relationships to ensure consistent service delivery and alignment to desk priorities.
  • Perform end-to-end trade support across capture/booking, allocations, confirmations coordination, lifecycle processing, and exception resolution.
  • Validate trade economics and key attributes for accuracy and timeliness while identifying booking and control gaps.
  • Monitor daily controls and exception queues to reduce breaks, fails, and aged items through timely escalation and root-cause follow-up.
  • Execute operational risk controls and reconciliations in line with policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations for desk-aligned trade support.
  • Maintain audit-ready evidence and governance routines through trackers, metrics packs, and control logs.
  • Support the identification, documentation, and remediation of operational risk events, issues, and audit findings, including participation in internal and external reviews.
  • Enable a Mumbai-based coverage model by ensuring effective handoffs, documentation, and continuity across regions and shifts.
  • Drive operating model strengthening by reporting KPIs/KRIs, highlighting emerging risks and trends, standardizing execution, improving data quality and exception management, and supporting change delivery for new products, platform enhancements, and regulatory initiatives. 
  • Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

    • Relevant experience in front officealigned Middle Office / trade support within Fixed Income, with exposure to Credit and/or Rates products.
    • Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle and key controls (booking, allocations, confirmations coordination, lifecycle events, exception management).
    • Demonstrated ability to manage time-sensitive issues, drive breaks to resolution, and escalate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to provide concise, structured updates to desk and operations partners.
    • High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and sound judgment in risk/control matters.

    Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

    • Experience supporting global desks and multi-time-zone coverage models, including structured handoffs.
    • Familiarity with operational risk frameworks, control testing/attestation processes, and audit/regulatory engagement support.
    • Experience contributing to process improvement or automation initiatives in partnership with Technology (e.g., documenting requirements, supporting UAT, post-release stabilization).
    • Broader product familiarity across Credit and Rates, including lifecycle events and documentation/confirmation workflows (scope dependent on desk).
