As a Trade and Working Capital - Payments & Loans Analyst
Job responsibilities
- Process and review trade finance transactions in line with internal policies and applicable international rules.
- Monitor transaction queues, prioritize work, and allocate items to ensure timely, high-quality completion.
- Follow up on pending items and ensure deliverables meet agreed service standards.
- Identify red flags and potential regulatory or compliance concerns and escalate for review.
- Adopt best practices by partnering with other transaction teams to support timely delivery.
- Escalate service-impacting issues promptly and communicate status clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members and partners across sales, service, and product to support smooth execution.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve exceptions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assess upstream and downstream impacts to support end-to-end process integrity.
- Research and resolve issues through detailed investigation.
- Participate in new projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Have 5 years of trade work experience.
- Hold a Bachelors degree.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate fluency in English with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate understanding of United States regulations and Office of Foreign Assets Control compliance.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrate project management and stakeholder management experience.
- Demonstrate banking industry experience, preferably with accounting and finance exposure.
- Hold a Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists certification.
- Hold a Certificate in International Trade and Finance certification.
