As a Lead Technical Program Manger at  JPMorgan Chase, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reach business goals across the firm. Within the Corporate Technology Organization this Technical Strategy, Programs & Communications Lead will act as a partner to the leader of a strategic data platform. This role will translate strategy into execution by driving the operating cadence, portfolio/program governance, budgeting, organization design, and executive-ready communications. Success requires strong technical fluency across data platforms, disciplined program leadership in a matrix, and the ability to create clear narratives and decision points for senior stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
  • Translate platform strategy into an integrated operating plan (OKRs/outcomes, quarterly priorities, roadmap, success metrics).
  • Run leadership execution cadence and planning cycles with clear actions, owners, and follow-through.
  • Lead cross-functional programs and portfolio governance (intake/prioritization, dependency mapping, RAID, senior-ready status).
  • Own financial management with Finance (forecast/run-rate, investment asks, vendor spend, cost optimization tied to outcomes).
  • Drive org/operating model and executive alignment: role clarity/RACI and ways of working; craft exec-ready narrative/materials; manage cross-org stakeholders, adoption, and priority conflicts.
     

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Experience in Chief of Staff / Strategy & Operations / Technical Program Management / Portfolio leadership roles within technology organizations.
  • Strong data platform fluency (e.g., data products, pipelines, governance/metadata, platform adoption, reliability/resilience concepts) with the ability to translate technical complexity into executive language.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive outcomes through influence in a matrixcomfort operating with ambiguity, competing priorities, and senior stakeholders.
  • Solid financial and operational acumen: budgeting/forecasting, headcount planning, prioritization frameworks, and executive-level reporting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with proven ability to build narratives, decision documents, and concise executive updates.
     

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting a senior technology leader (MD) as an execution partner.
  • Experience running portfolio governance across multiple teams/programs and driving operating model changes.
  • Familiarity with technology risk and control considerations in a regulated enterprise environment.
