JPMorgan Chases Global Technology Centers (TCs) are the backbone of our technology organization, representing 95% of our 66,000 technologists and spanning 24 strategic locations worldwide. The Tech Centers mission is to enable Global Technology (GT) strategic outcomes across all regions through localized leadership and a community-driven culture.
 

As a Tech Center Associate (VP Level), you will help plan and execute local programs, events, and initiatives that strengthen our technology community, drive operational excellence, and amplify the TCs impact. You will partner closely with the Tech Center Manager, Tech Center Lead, and pillar leads to shape strategy, manage cadence and budgets, streamline execution, and deliver clear communications that reinforce our values, culture, and brand.
 

Job responsibilities

  • Support the Tech Center Leadership team in delivering firmwide and location-specific programs, including planning, risk/issue tracking, and status reporting to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate leadership and program forums: create agendas, prepare materials, drive follow-ups, and track actions to closure.
  • Maintain the TC operating cadence and calendar; sequence events and milestones to avoid overlap and optimize participation.
  • Monitor key location metrics and surface data-driven opportunities to advance the TC strategy.
  • Partner with the Tech Center Manager/Lead and pillar leads to craft compelling presentations and leadership updates (e.g., new program proposals, progress updates, outcomes and impact).
  • Plan and deliver communications for local initiatives, programs, and events across channels; ensure timely, consistent, and audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Coordinate volunteer recruitment and manage participant engagement for events and initiatives, ensuring smooth end-to-end logistics.
  • Track and manage local budgets in partnership with the Tech Center Manager; support forecasting, spend tracking, and financial reviews.
  • Identify, escalate, and help resolve issues and conflicts across initiatives; evaluate options and support implementation of agreed solutions.
  • Standardize templates, processes, and artifacts to improve consistency and repeatability across programs and pillars.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes.
  • Strong project/program coordination skills: planning, prioritizing, organizing multiple parallel workstreams, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills, including preparing executive-ready presentations and concise status reporting.
  • Proven collaboration skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively across diverse teams and geographies.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of SharePoint. Familiarity with Visio and MS Project a plus.
  • Experience supporting high-performing teams delivering complex technology programs or operations.
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale technology organizations and familiarity with program management standards (e.g., Agile, scaled Agile, or hybrid models).
  • Experience with community-building initiatives (e.g., learning series, tech talks, employee engagement, or campus partnerships).
  • Strong sense of ownership, high integrity, and a track record of operating independently while contributing as part of a team.
