As a Vice President, Technology Audit Manager within the Commercial and Investment Banking post-trade technology audit team, you will lead technology audit engagements that help the firm manage risk and improve control effectiveness. You will execute key elements of the annual audit plan, including scoping, testing, and reporting. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate clearly through written reports and presentations. You will use data-driven approaches to deepen insights and improve audit quality. You will help shape a collaborative, inclusive team culture grounded in integrity and continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead audit engagements from planning through reporting, including scope, testing strategy, and timelines.
  • Identify key risks and evaluate control design and operating effectiveness across applications, infrastructure, and processes.
  • Perform and oversee audit testing and maintain clear, well-organized audit documentation aligned to Internal Audit policy.
  • Apply professional skepticism and independently raise issues in line with established criteria, escalating status and concerns as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, communicating results through concise written reports and effective presentations.
  • Use data analytics to increase audit coverage, efficiency, and insight generation.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends and assess potential impact to the risk landscape.
  • Lead and mentor audit team members, supporting coaching, development, and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Participate in control and governance forums and contribute to ongoing control improvement discussions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline audit execution through automation and innovative approaches.
  • Stay current on evolving industry standards and regulatory expectations relevant to technology risk and controls.
  • Required qualifications, capabilities and skills 

  • Minimum of 7 years of internal or external technology audit experience 
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in finance, technology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology risk and internal control concepts, including assessing control design and operating effectiveness.
  • Experience leading or managing audit engagements end-to-end (planning, fieldwork, reporting, and issue follow-up).
  • Proven ability to execute audit testing and produce thorough, high-quality audit documentation.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to management-level stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and establish credibility across technology, business, and control partners.
  • Experience using data analytics (tools, techniques, or methods) to enhance audit effectiveness.
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills 

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
  • Experience auditing post-trade technology or similar high-volume transaction processing environments.
  • Prior experience in financial services internal audit and/or a large public accounting firm supporting technology audits.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end post-trade processing concepts (e.g., confirmations, settlement, reconciliation, reference data, controls monitoring).
  • Experience evaluating technology governance, risk management, and control frameworks in complex platform environments.
  • Lead technology audits for post-trade platforms, assessing risk, testing controls, and driving improvements.
