As a Specialty Product Associate within Trade & Working Capital Management, you lead the team responsible for end-to-end Import and Export Letter of Credit (LC) processing for global clients. You ensure every transaction is executed in line with JPMorganChase policies and ICC rules (UCP600/ISBP/URR/URC) while consistently meeting agreed SLAs. You manage daily execution through queue oversight, work allocation, stakeholder coordination, and timely escalation of risk or compliance concerns.
Job Responsibilities :
- Process and release Import LC issuances, Export LC advising/confirmation, and Import LC document checking for global clients
- Ensure transactions are completed in line with JPMorganChase policies and ICC rules (UCP600, ISBP, URR, URC)
- Deliver accurate, timely outcomes aligned to agreed SLAs and quality standards
- Monitor queues, allocate work, prioritize daily volumes, and manage pending follow-ups
- Identify red flags including OFAC/regulatory issues, AML concerns, and boycott-language breaches, and escalate for review
- Conduct daily huddles and meetings to share process updates and operational priorities
- Coordinate with global operations partners and manage leave planning, team goals, and ongoing performance feedback
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities :
- Experience managing a team in an operations environment
- Working knowledge of ICC rules and frameworks including UCP600, ISBP, URR, and URC
- Subject matter expertise in LC issuance, advising/confirmation, and document checking processes
- Understanding of US regulations and OFAC compliance with strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities :
- CDCS certification
- CITF certification
- Project management experience
- Experience with queue monitoring, work allocation, and workload prioritization in a global operating model
