Wealth Management US Home Lending Risk Management Quality Review (Quality Reviewer)-Analyst 

Job Description:

The Wealth Management US Home Lending Risk Management Quality Review team identifies risk for Wealth Management Mortgage Underwriting practices within Wealth Management. The quality review is performed to validate the effectiveness of risk analysis as well as adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations, where applicable. The Reviewer is responsible for analyzing transactions and identifying risks/gaps including determining differences and/or inconsistencies, across various products and global regions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews of Mortgage Credit Underwriting practices within Wealth Management Risk to identify and assess underwriting-related risks and control gaps.
  • Validate the effectiveness of risk analysis and confirm adherence to applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze end-to-end credit transactions to identify discrepancies, differences, and/or inconsistencies in underwriting approach, documentation, and decisioning.
  • Evaluate credit risk controls and provide clear, well-supported observations and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Mortgage Specialists, Credit Executives, and other stakeholders to clarify findings, drive remediation, and support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a high standard of documentation, professionalism, and confidentiality while working with sensitive client and firm information.
  • Contribute to special projects/initiatives that enhance the Quality Review program, reporting, and risk coverage.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

 

  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience and/or knowledge in Auditing, Accounting, Internal Control, and/or Credit Analysis, with a focus on Credit Risk
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and procedures; demonstrated background in the Financial Services industry.
  • Working understanding of credit risks and related controls
  • Ability to follow complex methods and procedures across diverse tasks and product types.
  • Experience with Credit Risk infrastructure tools and applications (e.g., iCRD, Loan IQ, Connect, LLM, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Highest level of professionalism; proven ability to manage highly confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; shares information and supports colleagues.
  • Flexibility and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with a willingness to take ownership of new projects/initiatives.
