Job summary:

As a Senior Associate, Transaction Processing in Liquidity Operations, you will execute end-to-end transaction processing activities supporting product setup, maintenance, reconciliation, and servicing for liquidity solutions. You will apply a strong risk and control mindset by completing required controls, maintaining clear evidence and documentation, and escalating issues with context, impact, and recommended next steps. You will partner with client delivery and operations stakeholders to resolve exceptions, provide timely updates, and maintain service continuity through effective handoffs and cross-team coordination. You will contribute to performance monitoring and continuous improvement by tracking key metrics, analyzing trends, and supporting approved process and change initiatives.

Job responsibilities:

  • Execute daily transaction processing activities with strong ownership, effective queue management, and disciplined prioritization to meet timelines and service expectations.
  • Perform product setup and maintenance activities and maintain accurate processing records in line with documented procedures and operating rhythms.
  • Complete required controls (for example, checklists and quality checks) and retain appropriate evidence to support a strong control environment.
  • Investigate reconciliation breaks and processing exceptions, document findings and actions, and support root-cause analysis and remediation follow-through.
  • Escalate issues promptly with clear context, impact, and recommended next steps to enable faster triage, decisioning, and resolution.
  • Support client delivery outcomes by responding to inquiries, resolving exceptions, and providing clear, actionable status updates through written channels.
  • Track operational logs and key performance indicators, validate data quality, and provide structured inputs for business updates on drivers, emerging risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Identify recurring pain points and raise improvement opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce rework, and improve throughput and quality.
  • Support approved changes by participating in validation activities, implementation readiness, and post-change stabilization, including updates to procedures and control evidence as required.
  • Leverage approved digital tools, automation, and intelligent assistance to improve productivity and exception handling, and surface automation opportunities with clear risk and control considerations.
  • Collaborate with the team by sharing knowledge, supporting peers, and participating in training and upskilling (including informal mentoring without people-management responsibility).

     

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in transaction processing, operations, reconciliation, servicing, or a comparable control-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks under time and volume pressure, follow procedures, and apply sound judgment in escalation and exception handling.
  • Demonstrated experience executing controls, completing checklists, retaining evidence, and maintaining high documentation quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate breaks and exceptions, track issues, and support remediation actions to reduce repeat events.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including producing clear updates and structured escalation summaries for diverse stakeholders.
  • Hands-on analytical capability, including reconciliation analysis, data validation, and exception trending to support performance monitoring and improvement actions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools to manage operational datasets and produce clear documentation.
