The Equity Research department provides independent and objective market analysis to the global investment community. Being in a pivotal position in the department, the role requires you to relentlessly pursue quality deliverables for our esteemed customers. At Research Production, you will spend every day demonstrating troubleshooting behaviour and providing quality assistance to our talented analysts. 

As a Research Production Specialist in the Equity Research department, you will be displaying a detail-oriented approach as well as adhering to best practices, you will leverage your deep understanding of report layout capabilities and strong analytical acumen that deliver to each of our businesses. If you are curious, are accountable and have a passion for driving solutions, you may be the perfect fit for our team.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate across regional research analyst groups and assist them in formatting and publishing content in pre-defined templates.

  • Independently carry out collation of reports, build periodicals and ensure timely publication adhering to compliance guidelines.

  • Assist research analysts in production and dissemination of research publications in the absence of physical access of systems to them. 

  • Maintain strong controls in close partnership with internal functions and in accordance with company policies and regulatory changes.

  • Manage work priorities considering market timelines and collaborate with colleagues to construct up-to-date SOPs to carry out the business well. 

  • Meaningful contribution to advertising research events, conferences and conference calls to attract relevant audience, which will further strengthen firm-client relationships. 

  • Ability to create an actionable roadmap with a focus on ongoing innovation. 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelors degree in any stream

  • Ability to work with Microsoft and Adobe applications, especially Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Acrobat. 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in research production support. 

  • Attention to detail, accuracy and multi-tasking capability. Being enthusiastic about producing quality jobs.

  • Ability to proof own work and deliver under pressure, amidst periodical change in methodologies.

  • Sound communication skills - both written and verbal. Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to different audience over emails. 

  • Flexible about  work in non-general shifts starting anytime between 8 pm and 11 pm. The team provides round the clock coverage and role requires adaptability to shift from day to night work and vice-versa. Candidate should be willing to wait back if situation demands. Night shift can extend up to 3 to 4 weeks in continuation.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Additional knowledge - Photoshop (good to have).

  • Familiarity with programing and coding.
