As a Transaction Processing Specialist within the Regulatory Controls Team in the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Middle Office, you execute end-to-end control processes supporting Regulatory Trade Reporting across Global Credit, Rates, and Equities Derivatives. You partner with Change Management and internal stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into controlled business-as-usual (BAU) execution, remediation, and process enhancements. You ensure timely completion of end-of-day (EOD) controls, resolve breaks, and provide accurate management information (MI) to maintain strong operational risk discipline.
 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Deliver new regulatory reporting implementations and ongoing remediation activities.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements by partnering with Change Management and key stakeholders.
  • Execute end-to-end regulatory reporting control processes across Credit, Rates, and Equities.
  • Review and improve control processes supporting multi-jurisdiction regulatory reporting agendas.
  • Recommend process and system enhancements that reduce risk and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with Business and Technology to prioritize requirements and present clear business cases.
  • Maintain a controlled regulatory reporting environment through disciplined execution and governance.
  • Complete EOD controls and OTM checklists accurately within deadlines.
  • Resolve breaks proactively and ensure timely escalation of operational and technical issues.
  • Produce and deliver MIS updates to managers within agreed timelines.
  • Support cross-regional coverage and respond effectively to time-critical deliveries.
  • Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • Hold a graduate degree with 3+ years of experience, including 2+ years in an investment banking environment.
  • Demonstrate experience in Middle Office/Trade Support, regulatory controls, or reconciliation functions.
  • Apply understanding of Credit/Rates/Equity derivatives products and the end-to-end transaction lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of EMIR trade reporting and multi-jurisdiction reporting requirements.
  • Analyze complex requirements and diagnose operational/technical issues to drive resolution.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally while building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Operate proficiently in MS Office and manage multiple priorities under time pressure.
  • Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • Leverage a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Apply strong control mindset to identify gaps, prioritize remediation, and mitigate operational risk.
  • Manage workload effectively through excellent time management and prioritization discipline.
