Full Job Description

Location: Jersey City, NJ, United States

As a CDAO Portfolio Strategy & Delivery Sr. Associate in CDAO Product & Platforms, you serve as a senior advisor to Product Management leadership, building the portfolio frameworks and operating rhythms that turn priorities into funded plans and delivered outcomes. You partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering leaders, Finance partners, and key line-of-business stakeholders to align demand, capacity, and dependencies across the portfolio.

Your work directly improves how CDAO prioritizes investments and balances competing demands across CDAO priorities, line-of-business objectives, and firmwide engineering mandates. You create the visibility and governance leaders need to make timely trade-offs, reduce delivery friction, and keep execution focused on the highest-value outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will create portfolio decision frameworks that translate enterprise investment priorities into quarterly and multi-quarter roadmaps, including clear scope boundaries, dependency assumptions, and outcome definitions that teams can execute against.

  • You will shape capacity planning and investment sequencing by assessing discovery readiness, delivery capacity constraints, and work maturity, then packaging those insights into executive-ready recommendations for when to invest, accelerate, or defer initiatives.

  • You will redesign planning and governance processes to reduce cycle time and improve forecast accuracy, including tightening the intake-to-approval workflow, clarifying decision rights, and standardizing quarterly planning artifacts used across the portfolio.

  • You will define portfolio metrics and management intelligence that improve executive visibility into investment performance, capacity utilization, delivery velocity, bottlenecks, and planning effectiveness, and you will standardize the recurring portfolio reporting cadence used in leadership forums.

  • You will influence product leadership on portfolio optimization and cross-functional coordination approaches that improve throughput and reduce rework, especially where shared platforms create unavoidable coupling across teams.

  • You will apply GenAI and agentic solutions to improve portfolio operations, such as automating status synthesis from delivery systems, generating first-draft executive readouts, and proactively flagging emerging schedule and dependency risks for human review.

  • You will champion adoption of improved tools and methodologies across portfolio management and collaboration systems, ensuring teams use consistent data definitions and workflows so leadership decisions are grounded in reliable information.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in program management, portfolio management, portfolio optimization, or management consulting, with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive enterprise-level initiatives.

  • You demonstrate systems-level problem solving and can translate complex objectives into actionable planning frameworks, operating rhythms, and execution plans that teams can deliver.

  • You have strong executive advisory and stakeholder influence skills, with a track record of building trust, driving alignment, and leading through ambiguity across senior stakeholder groups.

  • You have demonstrated change leadership in fast-paced, complex environments, including driving adoption of new governance routines, planning artifacts, and portfolio reporting standards.

  • You bring deep understanding of product development lifecycles and agile methodologies, with the ability to apply them pragmatically in portfolio planning and governance.

  • You communicate with precision and can produce executive briefings and decision materials that are clear, visually disciplined, and designed for leadership action.

  • You have a metrics-driven mindset and can define KPIs, interrogate portfolio data, and translate insights into decisions and interventions that improve outcomes.

  • You are proficient with portfolio management and collaboration tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Atlassian, Monday.com, and visualization tools.

  • You operate with high ownership, independence, and persistence, and you can drive outcomes in ambiguous environments without needing heavy oversight.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • You bring experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy, including advising on portfolio strategy, operating model design, or organizational transformation.

  • You have applied GenAI and agentic approaches to improve planning, reporting, or operational workflows in a controlled, auditable way, and you can translate those capabilities into practical improvements in portfolio execution.

Elevate planning cycles, sharpen forecasts, remove bottlenecks, and empower leadership with clear, transparent portfolio data.
