As an Analyst within Operations Control Management team, you support the oversight and continuous improvement of the operations control environment. Youll help identify operational risks, document and enhance controls, and track issues through governance forums and stakeholder routines. Youll partner closely with operations, technology, finance, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver process improvement initiatives. Youll work in a fast-paced environment where clear communication, attention to detail, and strong follow-through matter. Youll help the team improve efficiency through automation and smarter reporting.

Our team operates as a first line risk and control function embedded with operations, focused on practical, well-evidenced controls and strong day-to-day governance. Youll collaborate across functions and geographies, contributing to consistent control practices and continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities

  • Drive process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce redundancy
  • Build and maintain governance materials for control forums, including status updates, metrics, and action tracking
  • Automate recurring reporting and documentation where feasible to improve accuracy and timeliness
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and deliver assigned improvement activities
  • Track operational risks and issues, including progress against remediation actions and due dates
  • Support project execution by coordinating meetings, documenting decisions, and maintaining deliverable trackers
  • Prepare clear, stakeholder-ready summaries and presentations for leadership and governance routines
  • Contribute to cross-business control initiatives by supporting planning, execution, and progress reporting
  • Promote consistent, well-documented processes and controls aligned to applicable laws, rules, and regulations

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
  • Open to fresh graduates
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working across operations, technology, finance, compliance, and business partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating clear updates and meeting materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to tracking risks, issues, and actions

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience in financial services or bank operations environment will be beneficial
  • Experience supporting risk, controls, governance, or operational excellence initiatives
  • Experience with automation or analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath)
  • Experience preparing materials for risk/control committees or governance forums
  • Experience simplifying end-to-end processes and documenting controls and procedures
