Full Job Description

Location: Ciudad Autnoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina

As a Trade Lifecycle Specialist, you will be part of the Service & Corporate Actions Team, responsible for monitoring and resolving pre & post trade issues, addressing inquiries from the lines of businesses and assisting with order submission process. The Service & Corporate Actions Team will work in tandem with the larger Mutual Fund teams to ensure end to end processing of Mutual Funds Trades. In addition you will assist in mitigating any subsequent issues such as reconciliation breaks, dividend impacts and miscellaneous inquiries on a timely manner.

The Service & Corporate Actions Team utilizes the research applications within Connect Desktop and SS&Cs Sub-Accounting Vendor systems to identify and resolve trade issues and inquires. They also monitor all communications pertaining to corporate actions and setup detailed execution plans that are tailored to each specific event type. This will include creating a weekly tracker of upcoming events, holding meetings with key stakeholders and ensuring the action plan is executed accurately and timely. 

Responsibilities:

  • Operational process and control of the daily workflow within the Mutual Fund Ops Service & Corporate Actions Team

  • Support Pre & Post Trade issues

  • Maintain the Erules system with real-time updates 

  • Support the processing of Corporate Actions 

  • Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning and ensure team structure is robust through effective training and succession planning

  • Ensure all daily controls and processing are completed including cash and stock break review, daily settlement, as well as all key metrics are produced as required

  • Effective communication with the full group

  • Continued review of content and presentation of Standard Operating Procedures, in line with new policies and ongoing risk management activities

Additional preferred skills:

  • English Proficiency - both written and oral
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills

  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team

  • Strong communication skills - both written and oral

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and handle multiple issues or projects at once as well as ability to set priorities among competing demands

  • Strong client focus mindset

  • Understanding of technology and process flows

  • Strong process control mindset

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
