As a Lead Software Engineer UI Developer at JPMorganChase within the Chase Digital team (Consumer & Community Banking), you will lead and contribute to the design and delivery of modern web applications that improve how customers discover, access, and manage business banking capabilities. Youll drive quality, performance, and reliability through strong engineering practices and partner closely across product, design, and technology to ship outcomes at scale.
Job responsibilities
Lead delivery across the team by coordinating engineers and driving execution in an agile environment to meet quality and timeline goalsDesign, build, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScriptEstablish and uphold engineering best practices across the software development life cycle (SDLC), including code quality, testing, and release readinessEngineer and optimize Single Page Applications, focusing on page performance, user experience, and scalable front-end architectureImplement comprehensive testing strategies including unit, component, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure product quality and completenessCollaborate across product, design, and engineering partners to translate business needs into well-architected technical solutionsImprove development workflows by identifying and implementing enhancements to tooling, processes, and build pipelines (for example, Jenkins)Ensure solutions align with architecture standards and follow risk management and security expectationsLeverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
