The ETS Facilities Engineer / Implementation Coordinator is a key member of the Global ETS Facility Management team, responsible for the strategic design and ongoing management of the physical plant (space and power) across Americas colocation facilities under ETS oversight. The role ensures sites adhere to JPMC enterprise standards, as well as additional standards required for electronic trading and colocation environments.

ETS launched a global Facilities Program in 2018 to drive consistent standards and operations across a 40+ site colocation estate. This role supports execution of program work and business-as-usual facilities change and maintenance activities. In addition, the role coordinates server and network physical implementation work through third-party smart hands, including customer acceptance and signoff and coordination of ETS Network and Server platform resources for on-site work.

Job responsibilities

  • Identify and implement site-specific remediation based on Facilities Survey findings.
  • Conduct site assessment visits at all locations.
  • Translate project requirements into build artifacts, including floor plans, rack elevations, low-voltage patching schedules, high-voltage patching schedules, structured cabling designs, and cable routing schematics.
  • Translate firm-wide (DCS) facilities standards and/or ETS bespoke facilities standards into all build artifacts.
  • Ensure hardware installed/supported by ETS is appropriately represented in the JPMC Global Product Catalog.
  • Interface between Facilities and ETS tooling (e.g., NetBox, NetPortal, Splunk, and other tools).
  • Participate in bench testing of new equipment (host, network, power/PDU).
  • Perform asset management in the firms system of record.
  • Update asset management systems for moves/adds/changes/decommissions (BAU work and reconciliation from program-driven site visits).
  • Manage invoice processing for moves/adds/changes/decommissions.

Work Schedule & Onsite Requirement

  • Work schedule is TuesdaySaturday.

  • Minimum 10 years specializing in facilities design and implementation (data center/colocation environments).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Team player adept at collaborating with internal and external parties to develop solutions for the business.
  • Strong decision-maker, with transparent and timely communication and follow-up.
  • Excellent listening, writing, speaking, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Flexible, hands-on, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, client-focused, and collaborative environment.
  • Advantage: Experience supporting or implementing liquid cooling in data center/colocation facilities (e.g., selection, deployment coordination, operational readiness, and vendor/smart-hands execution).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Exposure to managing budgets
Drive significant business impact and tackle infrastructure engineering challenges that span multiple technology domains
