Job Description

As an Associate or Analyst on the Director Advisory Services team you will be part of the global group dedicated to strengthening relationships between public company board directors and JPMorgan. You will assist with advising corporate clients on board-level appointments, curate content for the JPMorgan Director Community, and partner with senior investment bankers to coordinate events for corporate board directors. In this role, you will engage with senior bankers and interact directly with C-suite and board-level clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain an extensive database of director candidates.
  • Meet with external director candidates referred by JPMorgan bankers.
  • Develop creative solutions to address client needs.
  • Oversee follow-ups, including search referrals and networking connections.
  • Support the planning and execution of events in regions outside the United States.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Three years of professional experience.
  • Proven ability to interact professionally and maturely with business clients and senior management.
  • Advanced technology skills, including strong proficiency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, look-ups, filtering) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to thrive in a lean team environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the highest level of discretion and integrity.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal colleagues.
  • Displays maturity, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with professionals at all levels within JPMorgan.
