Location: Ciudad Autnoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join the Product Control team within Investment Banking. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business, finance, and risk partners to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial reporting.

Product Control plays a key role in supporting Capital Markets and M&A activities by delivering reliable financial information and meaningful analysis to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and analyze daily and monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) for Investment Banking activities
  • Investigate and explain drivers of P&L movements, including market impacts and deal activity
  • Support month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Book and review transactions related to Capital Markets and M&A activity
  • Perform key controls to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial results, partnering with relevant teams
  • Collaborate with Front Office/MO, Risk, Operations, and Finance stakeholders
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong accounting and financial analysis skills, with solid understanding of reporting and controls
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, reconciliations, modeling)
  • High level of attention to detail with a strong control and audit mindset
  • Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive transformation initiatives
  • Effective communication skills, with proficiency in English
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles within Investment Banking products (e.g., Capital Markets, M&A)
  • Experience in accounting, financial reporting, product control, or related roles
  • Exposure to process optimization, automation, or transformation initiatives (e.g., workflow redesign, control enhancements)
  • Familiarity with data and automation tools (e.g., Python, Tableau, Alteryx) to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Experience working in change management or innovation-driven environments
