Job Responsibilities

  • Own and drive production incident management, including triage, restoration, communications, escalation, and post-incident actions.
  • Lead problem management to identify root cause, implement corrective actions, and reduce recurrence through durable remediation.
  • Execute and govern change management activities, ensuring changes are assessed for risk, validated, documented, and aligned to resiliency/security expectations.
  • Manage service delivery responsibilities including lifecycle management, service evolution, and operational readiness for new capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for day-to-day operational issues, queries, and status updates.
  • Define, maintain, and improve MIS/operational reporting requirements to support process health, capacity planning, and service performance.
  • Utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate monitoring, capacity analysis, and documentation, validating outputs and handling data per sensitivity/security requirements.
  • Apply reuse-first and automation/AI-assisted approaches to identify recurring risks and improve remediation workflows and provide technical leadership as a team lead and/or SME; coach and mentor less experienced engineers.
  • Contribute to functional goals, priorities, and service objectives aligned to overall GT strategy.
  • Create and maintain high-quality runbooks, procedures, and operational documentation; independently apply critical thinking and sound judgment and advocate for customers during infrastructure- or business-critical events, ensuring timely decision-making and clear communications

 

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 3+ years of applied experience
  • Expertise in one or multiple Network Technologies: Routing & Switching across Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and Metropolitan Area Networks  ,Routing & Switching (LAN, WAN) IP Services (Load Balancing, Bluecoat Proxies and Firewalls), Datacenter Technologies (Nexus, ASR, VXLAN, Cisco ACI / SIMPL, Arista Fabric), Optical (Ciena)
  • Experience working in a banking, exchange or technology type environment within a global organization
  • Understand Network infrastructure components and how they are tracked and managed in various systems
  • Executes within a customer-centric environment
  • Ability to use (or learn) scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
  • Experience in Protocol Analyzers (Cpacket, BigSwtich, Wireshark, Riverbed)
  • Experience in capacity/monitoring management tools (Splunk, SevOne, ThousandEyes)
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal

  • Demonstrated success leading as a Team Lead/SME in operationally critical environments.
