Join JPMorganChases India Branch FX & Derivatives Operations team and play a key role in managing complex products and driving operational excellence. As an Associate in FX & Derivatives Operations, you will oversee end-to-end trade lifecycle management for foreign exchange forwards, options, and rates derivatives. You will ensure compliance with regulatory and industry guidelines, manage settlements and reconciliations, and drive process improvements. You will collaborate with internal and external partners, support business growth, and help foster a culture of partnership and continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle for foreign exchange forwards, options, and rates derivatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry guidelines, including requirements from The Clearing Corporation of India Limited (CCIL) and The Foreign Exchange Dealers Association of India (FEDAI).
  • Manage settlement and reconciliation processes, including nostro and wash accounts.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting, goods and services tax computation, and monitor prudential and regulatory limits.
  • Manage corporate client regulatory documentation and stay updated on regulatory reporting impacts.
  • Collaborate with external clients and internal partners, including business, finance, compliance, legal, and audit teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clearly articulate complex matters.
  • Identify process gaps and develop practical solutions, connecting the dots across functions.
  • Support business expansion and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.
     

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in markets operations or a related domain within financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end trade lifecycle for foreign exchange forwards, options, and rates derivatives, including regulatory and industry guidelines (FEDAI & CCIL), settlement, confirmation, and reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed and structured, with strong ownership and follow-through.
  • Solution-oriented approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
     

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with automation tools such as Alteryx, UiPath, or Python.
Lead FX and derivatives operations, drive process improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic market environment.
