Are you passionate about liquidity, smart order routing, and shaping how institutional flow interacts with global markets? As a Vice President in our Equities Execution Services team, you will help shape the strategy and development of the liquidity products at the heart of our electronic trading platform. If you combine deep market-structure expertise with a product mindset, we encourage you to apply.

Job Summary:

As a Vice President in Liquidity Product Management within the Electronic Client Solutions (ECS) team, you will help lead the strategy and roadmap for our liquidity products. You will be responsible for the development and evolution of our Smart Order Router (SOR), our internalisation capabilities, and our relationships with execution venues. Partnering closely with Technology, Quantitative Research, trading, and sales, you will translate market-structure insight and performance analysis into product enhancements that improve execution quality, reduce trading costs, and strengthen our competitive position. You will play a central role in defining how client and house flow accesses liquidity across lit, dark, and internal liquidity sources.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evolve the liquidity product strategy and roadmap across all accessible liquidity sources.
  • Drive the ongoing enhancement of our Smart Order Router (SOR), setting priorities for routing logic, venue selection, and performance.
  • Manage and grow the breadth and depth of our internalisation capabilities, ensuring they deliver measurable execution-quality and cost benefits to clients.
  • Deepen our relationships with trading venues and contribute to our venue analysis framework - evaluating new venues and monitoring performance outcomes.
  • Partner with Technology and Quantitative Research to specify, prioritise, and deliver product enhancements.
  • Maintain a deep working knowledge of equities market structure, venue dynamics, and the evolving regulatory landscape.
  • Engage clients and sales teams to explain our routing and liquidity capabilities and gather feedback to inform the roadmap.
  • Ensure adherence with all relevant regulatory, best-execution, and control requirements.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Significant experience in liquidity product management, smart order routing, or electronic execution within equities
  • Deep understanding of equities market structure, venue microstructure, and order routing
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate large execution and routing datasets
  • Proven ability to define product strategy and deliver a roadmap in partnership with technology
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, q/KDB, SQL)
  • Client-facing personality with strong communication skills and commercial awareness

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Direct experience owning or developing a Smart Order Router or internalisation engine
  • Familiarity with existing trading venues across EMEA
  • Understanding of best-execution obligations and equities market-structure regulation
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across technology, quantitative research, trading, legal/compliance, and sales
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
