As a Fund Servicing Associate (Manager level) in Securities Services Operations, you will be responsible for timely and accurate net asset value (NAV) delivery to support fund accounting and client release. You will lead day-to-day execution and provide oversight to ensure accurate booking of derivatives trades based on client instructions, including valuation, cash flows, and collateral processing. You will process, value, and reconcile client over-the-counter derivatives activity using third-party derivatives servicing platforms and relevant market and economic data. You will manage exceptions and escalations, apply strong risk and controls discipline, and partner with internal teams to resolve issues within required service levels. You will support ongoing client onboardings and technology enhancements in a dynamic operating environment.

Job responsibilities:

  • Apply derivatives and securities markets knowledge to support accurate, controlled processing.
  • Lead day-to-day team execution and quality oversight to support timely NAV delivery and client release.
  • Process and validate derivatives trades and lifecycle events in line with client instructions and procedures.
  • Book trades accurately and ensure completeness of valuation, cash flow, and collateral processing.
  • Reconcile derivatives portfolios and investigate breaks, driving timely resolution within cutoffs.
  • Perform first-level authorization and quality review activities in accordance with controls and procedures.
  • Act as an escalation point and respond to stakeholder queries promptly and accurately.
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve exceptions efficiently and prevent recurrence.
  • Perform root-cause analysis to increase straight-through processing and reduce client inquiries.
  • Manage operational risk by identifying, escalating, and resolving issues above materiality thresholds with end-to-end ownership.
  • Partner with technology and strategy teams to support onboarding activity and implement process or system enhancements.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Working knowledge of over-the-counter derivatives products and servicing processes, including valuation, cash flows, and collateral.
  • Understanding of client valuation processes and valuation impacts across major asset classes (for example, fixed income, equities, commodities, and indices).
  • Experience executing or overseeing controlled processing in an operations environment with deadlines and cutoffs.
  • Strong risk and controls mindset, including escalation and end-to-end issue ownership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across levels.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with partners across Operations, Technology, Risk, and Finance.
  • Strong time management and structured problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Five years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with digital or automation tools (for example, Tableau or Alteryx).
