Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

As a Documentation Specialist in Securities Documentation, you will support the execution of securities and certificate of deposit offerings by identifying precedents, drafting documentation, and capturing accurate trade and product details. You will partner with Legal, Tax, Middle Office, Sales and Trading, Operations, and outside counsel to meet stakeholder needs under tight deadlines. You will thrive in a dynamic environment by balancing independent ownership with strong collaboration across teams.

Job responsibilities

  • Differentiate key features across a broad range of structured products linked to equity, credit, rates, commodities, and foreign exchange rates
  • Identify suitable precedent documents and apply consistent drafting standards
  • Draft, review, and finalize documents required to launch, price, and settle securities transactions
  • Track and analyze securities and certificate of deposit offerings and maintain accurate status reporting
  • Capture and validate trade details and product information in relevant systems and platforms
  • Coordinate documentation workflows across Business, Legal, Tax, Middle Office, Sales and Trading, and Operations
  • Partner with outside counsel on documentation-related matters and issue resolution
  • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting tight stakeholder deadlines
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with peers and stakeholders at all levels
  • Exercise sound judgment and adhere to applicable policies, procedures, and controls
  • Escalate risks, exceptions, and process issues promptly and propose improvements where appropriate
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 2 years of experience in legal documentation at a law firm, financial institution, or comparable environment
  • Law degree (or equivalent legal qualification)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across functions
  • Ability to manage a high volume of transactions with workload variability day to day
  • Ability to exercise mature judgment and adhere to policy guidelines and control expectations
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed to meet stakeholder deadlines
  • Ability to successfully complete a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to commencement of employment
