As a Data & AI Platform Product Manager - Vice President within the APAC Chief Analytics and Data Office, you will own the APAC technical product agenda for the firms Data & AI platform capabilities. Job responsibilities

  • Lead APAC technical product discovery with business sponsors, end users, client technology teams, Customer Success, and Business Adoption to identify high-impact Data & AI platform opportunities
  • Develop a strong understanding of APAC workflows, user pain points, data flows, technical constraints, regulatory expectations, and adoption barriers across markets and Lines of Business
  • Triage incoming demand to determine the right path (self-serve, product expertise, solution design, new feature development, or APAC-specific capability) and define clear problem statements and success criteria
  • Define APAC-specific platform requirements across functional, data, integration, access/entitlements, controls, and user experience needs, including user journeys and acceptance criteria
  • Translate data governance, AI governance, risk and control expectations into platform capability requirements (e.g., approvals, guardrails, lineage, auditability, evidence capture)

  • Partner with APAC CAO/CPO and intake forums to prioritize work based on business value, regulatory relevance, risk/control requirements, user impact, and technical feasibility
  • Provide structured APAC inputs into global/regional platform roadmaps, balancing regional needs with global strategy to avoid unnecessary fragmentation
  • Define measurable outcomes and track success (adoption, usage, value realization, control adherence, production readiness, customer satisfaction), converting learnings into backlog improvements
  • Communicate priorities, trade-offs, and roadmap implications to senior stakeholders; produce executive-ready product briefs and decision materials

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in technical/platform product management, data/AI platforms, enterprise technology products, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of data and AI platform capabilities (data management, analytics enablement, AI/ML enablement, governance, lineage, data quality, access controls/entitlements, adoption)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business problems, regulatory requirements, and technical constraints into product requirements, user journeys, acceptance criteria, and roadmap priorities
  • Strong technical fluency (data flows, APIs, platform architecture, cloud-based platforms, integration patterns, technical documentation, non-functional requirements)
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams to shape platform capabilities while maintaining clear product ownership of the what/why/for whom
  • Strong product judgment with ability to make trade-offs across value, urgency, feasibility, risk, and platform strategy
  • Experience operating in financial services or another regulated environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior business, product, engineering, risk, and governance partners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including creating product briefs, prioritization recommendations, and executive decision materials
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, structure complex problems, and drive alignment across regional and global stakeholders

  • Experience in a CDAO/data office, analytics/AI function, platform product organization, or enterprise transformation program
  • Track record supporting platform adoption across multiple countries, Lines of Business, or regulated jurisdictions
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, lineage/metadata, access management, and AI/model governance expectations
  • Experience defining product requirements for APIs, data products, workflow tools, self-service platforms, analytics capabilities, or AI/ML enablement platforms
  • MBA, Masters degree, or advanced technical/product qualification
