Are you experienced within financial services and are passionate about your work? Then you found the right position for you! 

As a Custody Asset Servicing Associate with German in the Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) team, you will play a vital role in processing clients unit dealing activity for German and Swiss special funds, as well as German public funds. This role offers a strong opportunity to grow professionally within Custody Operations, working closely with colleagues in Bournemouth, and teams across the global Securities Services / Custody organisation.

Job responsibilities

  • Capture and process clients unit dealing activity accurately and within agreed timelines and controls.
  • Build strong internal working relationships and partnerships with colleagues in Bournemouth, and global stakeholders across Custody.
  • Provide operational subject matter expertise and conduct root-cause analysis to identify drivers of issues and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Proactively identify process enhancement opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and client experience.
  • Support other teams within Custody Operations as required, based on workload and business priorities.
  • Perform project-related tasks (e.g., migrations, change initiatives, process reviews) depending on workload and team needs.

 

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities     

  • Proven track record in Operations.
  • Industry/product knowledge in at least one of the following: Trade Settlement, Cash Operations, or Asset Servicing.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and control.
  • Strong prioritization, planning, organizational, and time-management skills; able to manage competing deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident interacting with internal stakeholders and (where applicable) external parties.
  • Proactive, analytical, self-motivated, flexible, and driven to deliver excellence.
  • Key focus areas for success in this role: accuracy, proactivity, responsiveness, knowledge, and drive for excellence.
  • Fluency in German is essential (English proficiency expected in a global environment).

 

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities   

  • Advanced knowledge of JPMorganChase systems/applications and service offering.
  • Experience supporting process improvement initiatives and/or project work in an operations environment.
