 About the job

As an Associate within Global Regulatory & Policy Management (GRPM), you will join the Reporting, Quality & Insights (RQ&I) team responsible for centralized reporting and dashboards, workflow enablement, quality control, regulatory/policy insights, and continuous process improvement across the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB).

The role supports the deployment of AI-enabled workflows, centralized operating models, and regulatory technology solutions designed to improve consistency, efficiency, and transparency across GRPM. The team acts as a central hub for operational excellence, cross-CIB coordination, workflow design, and data-driven process optimization.

You will partner with GRPM lines of business and key stakeholders including CIB Regional Controls, Firmwide Legal & Regulatory Change (LRCM) Program, Legal, Risk Management, Compliance, Technology, and CIB business stakeholders to enhance regulatory/policy processes and support GRPMs evolving target operating model.

Job responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and enhance CIB Regulation dashboards, reports, and management information (MI).
  • Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, metrics, KPIs, and standardized reporting definitions aligned to policy governance and regulatory needs.
  • Consolidate and map data from multiple internal sources to standard definitions to support consistent regulatory/policy reporting.
  • Design and execute data quality controls including reconciliations, exception reporting, and control evidence generation.
  • Develop and improve QA processes for Regulatory Policy Management reporting (validation steps, approvals, controls, and audit trail).
  • Configure and support workflow solutions for policy-related processes (intake, review/approval, attestations, exceptions, and distribution).
  • Provide BAU support to global users, including incident triage, stakeholder communications, tracking, and timely resolution.
  • Coordinate across Technology, data owners, Risk/Compliance partners, and regional teams across time zones.
  • Produce operational runbooks and user/support documentation; contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Support automated generation of newsletters and policy communications using repeatable, data-driven methods (templates, scheduling, and distribution lists).
  • Identify and drive opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation in BAU reporting, communications, and workflow.
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in controls, governance, regulatory operations, compliance, risk management, business management, project management, or related financial services discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and control-minded execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate requirements into clear reporting/workflow outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously in a structured governance environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • Qlik (dashboarding/MI development)
    • SQL (data extraction, validation, and reconciliation)
    • Workflow tools/platforms (configuration/support, process design)
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with legal obligations, regulatory inventories, policy governance, workflow platforms, and/or regulatory technology tools.
  • Experience supporting UAT/testing, change implementation, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled capabilities, automation, workflow design, data analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, Technology, Audit, Controls, and/or Operations functions.
