Join a high-impact operations team that delivers critical tax reporting for clients and regulators globally. Lead end-to-end production with strong governance, quality, and control discipline. Drive smarter, faster delivery through process improvement and automation.

As a Tax Reporting Operations Associate within Tax Reporting Operations, you lead the day-to-day production of U.S. and international tax reporting outputs across multiple regimes. You ensure accurate, timely, and well-controlled reporting through rigorous validation, reconciliation, and audit-ready documentation. You partner across Operations, Tax, Compliance, Technology, and Data to resolve breaks, manage change, and advance automation and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage daily tax reporting operations across 1099, 1042-S, FATCA, CRS, BBSI, and USWA activities.
  • Own end-to-end production and delivery of tax reporting outputs to meet accuracy, completeness, and timeliness standards.
  • Oversee data validation and QA routines, including exception monitoring, reconciliations, and upstream input verification.
  • Maintain a strong control environment through documented procedures, evidence retention, and audit-ready artifacts.
  • Coordinate internal and regulatory reporting requirements by managing inputs, resolving breaks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Advise as an SME on CRS requirements and U.S. tax documentation (W-9 and W-8 series) impacts to onboarding and refresh cycles.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and defect elimination to reduce rework and prevent recurring issues.
  • Standardize workflows and operating procedures to improve consistency, governance, and execution quality.
  • Implement automation and control enhancements to reduce manual touchpoints and strengthen end-to-end reporting.
  • Partner with Operations, Tax, Compliance, Technology, and Data teams to deliver change and manage escalations.
  • Leverage tools such as Alteryx, Python, and Tableau to produce insights, dashboards, and operational reporting.
  • Required qualifications, capabilities and skills 

  • Demonstrate experience of at least 4 years managing tax reporting operations across U.S. and international regimes (1099, 1042-S, FATCA, CRS).
  • Apply strong working knowledge of CRS requirements and U.S. tax documentation standards (W-9 and W-8 series forms).
  • Execute time-sensitive production processes with high accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Operate with a strong risk and control mindset in regulated environments, including reconciliations, QA, and governance.
  • Deliver process improvement through root-cause analysis, standardization, and automation/control uplift.
  • Communicate effectively across stakeholders and escalate issues with clarity and appropriate urgency.
  • Analyze operational data to investigate exceptions/breaks and validate reporting outputs and metrics.
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bring exposure to BBSI and/or USWA reporting activities.
  • Lead teams directly or through matrixed structures to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Build control evidence packs and remediation tracking suitable for audit and regulatory review.
  • Design automated exception monitoring and reconciliation routines to reduce defect leakage.
  • Create dashboards and management reporting in Tableau to monitor timeliness, quality, and risk indicators.
  • Develop repeatable workflows in Alteryx and/or Python to reduce manual processing and improve traceability.
