Job Summary:
As an Associate in CAO Transport Operations, you will support the delivery of Mumbai transportation operations including day nodal and night cab services. You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, vendor coordination, MIS/KPI reporting, compliance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong operational discipline, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and comfort with using technology and data to improve service quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:
Support execution of transport operations for Mumbai including day nodal services and night cab services, ensuring seamless employee commute experience.
Coordinate with transport service providers and internal stakeholders to manage daily operations, escalations, exceptions, and service recovery.
Track and monitor operational KPIs (on-time performance, trip adherence, incidents, vendor performance, employee feedback) and publish regular MIS / dashboards.
Support route planning / optimization activities and help identify opportunities for efficiency improvements without compromising safety and service quality.
Ensure adherence to relevant policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards; support audits, compliance documentation, and corrective action tracking.
Support budget tracking activities, invoice validation, and spend analysis; highlight variances and recommend cost optimization opportunities.
Assist with vendor governance including performance reviews, SLA adherence, issue resolution, and documentation; partner with GSS as needed for contract / commercial support.
Support implementation of process improvements and technology enablement initiatives (fleet/transport management tools, data analytics, automation) in collaboration with relevant teams.
Support communications to employees and business stakeholders (service updates, advisories, process changes) and contribute to stakeholder engagement routines.
Support team operations including shift / roster support (as required), training coordination, and maintaining SOPs / playbooks for consistent delivery.

Required qualification, capabilities and skills
Bachelors degree (Masters degree / MBA is a plus).
Minimum of 56 years of experience in transport operations, administration, logistics, mobility services, or equivalent operations role.
Experience in MIS reporting, KPI tracking, vendor coordination, invoice / billing validation, and day-to-day operational execution.
Working knowledge of transport logistics, fleet operations, routing concepts, and regulatory / safety compliance fundamentals.
Proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint; comfort with fleet management / transport management tools and data analytics is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage escalations and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment with high service expectations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
