Full Job Description
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina
As a Margin Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and managing margin exceptions that arise during daily client trading activities. Utilizing team-developed User Tools, you will assess whether manual intervention is necessary. These exceptions may involve unsecured debits, short positions, good faith violations, or box positions in margin accounts. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service to various business lines by addressing regulatory and margin-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor margin loans to ensure compliance with equity level requirements.
- Serve as a primary liaison between front offices and operations.
- Conduct daily reviews of cash and margin exceptions to prevent Reg T violations.
- Reconcile transactions between bank and brokerage accounts.
- Ensure collateral agreements for JPMCC customer accounts adhere to Federal, FINRA, and internal policies.
Manage client account interest and fee billing postings.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English, essential for daily communication with US management and counterparties.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
- Strong client/customer focus, with the ability to assist internal clients and prioritize inquiries.
