Job summary
As a Research analyst in the China Asset Management Research team, you will work closely with a global team of Analysts, Portfolio Managers, and Investment Specialists to evaluate investment opportunity and ongoing management.
Job responsibilities
- Manage investment strategy and stock selection of the covered industries, i.e. electronics, semiconductor and related industries, etc., seizing investment opportunities and maintaining close contact with fund managers and head of investment and research.
- Gain excess returns through in-depth research of fundamentals, and lead the market by correctly judging the investment timing.
- Continue to deepen the analytical ability in macro policy and resource mining, construct industry simulation portfolio, in order to realistically outperform the benchmark and obtain excess returns.
- Complete morning meetings, weekly meetings and daily tracking reports in accordance with company and departmental rules and regulations.
- Participate in training and seminars in a timely manner.
- Fulfill other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- At least 3 years of relevant equity research experience with coverage in electronics and related industries
- Superior analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Strong work ethic with a drive to outperform and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Intellectual curiosity with a desire to learn from multiple disciplines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work constructively and successfully with other team members.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent financial modeling and equity valuation skills
- Attainment of all necessary regulatory licenses (or any other licenses / qualifications as required) for carrying out Asset Management and other regulated activities
