Job Description

  • Invoice / payment requests verification, coding and processing.
  • Matches invoices to purchase orders
  • Review/ Quality check on the invoices and employee expense reports
  • Research on hold, unpaid documents and follow-up for resolution
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follows-up on past due invoices
  • Creation of Purchase Orders
  • Handle PO Maintenance Activity Liaise with requestors/Buyers to close the Open POs
  • Follow-up with Requestors/Buyers to perform GRN and to sort out Price/Quantity Variance
  • Handle Queries via Service Now requests
  • Meeting process SLAs on consistent basis
  • Adhering to SOX and Internal Controls of the Process and Organization
  • Payment run Create payment batches, review and work with onshore team to resolve exception items.
  • Capable enough to handle the other sub-processes like alternative invoicing, Reclassification and Adhoc requests that are received in the Generic Mailbox
  • Assist senior team member in preparing the process documentation (SOP, Process Maps etc.)
  • Maintaining manual trackers (Issue & Error log, Query log, exception tracker etc.).
  • Answers vendor and employee inquiries over phone and email
  • Track exceptions and share with team on regular basis
  • Support senior team member to monitor SLA and daily deliverables
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of process

Your Competencies

Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); understanding of internal control elements; strong problem solving and analytical skills; good interpersonal skills; good written and oral communication skills; highly organized; ability to meet strict deadlines; excellent customer service skills; ability to multi-task

2 to 3 years of experience in accounting/accounts payable experience is required; Experience with accounting and financial systems, preferably Oracle; Experience in procure to pay process improvement and application systems implementation; knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Work hours will be from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST (01:30 PM to 10:30PM IST) and may include late hours and/or weekend support during close. Shift timing may be mapped as per region supported.
