Job Description

  • Partnering with the Market Leader, Internal Market Consultant, and Division Sales Director to develop and implement a territory sales plan that aligns with the overarching firm plan and deploys/leverages the resources and specialists of Invesco at a high level
  • Developing differentiated client relationships, including growing existing client relationships and developing new profitable relationships to reach maximum wallet share
  • Identifying and gaining access to advisors who present opportunities for Invesco investment strategies
  • Travel within the territory to conduct meetings with clients, COIs, and lead client events
  • Delivering product presentations to current and prospective Financial Advisors via face-to-face meetings, telephone, WebEx, seminars, and conferences
  • Utilizing a consultative approach, delivering solutions before products to meet client needs and drive results
  • A digital and data-driven mentality to develop and carry out a strategic business plan, including the adoption of technologies that improve efficiency and lead to an enhanced client experience
  • Executing a data-driven client segmentation strategy
  • Performing portfolio construction and manager selection consultations to clients with varying technical expertise (includes practice level CIOs, CFAs, and analyst gatekeepers)

The experience you bring:

    • 3+ years of asset management sales experience
    • Undergraduate, college degree or equivalent preferred
    • CFA, CIMA or similar certification a plus
    • Series 7 and 63 required (63/65 can be substituted for the 66)
    • Technical investment expertise including superior knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and their competitive landscape and in-depth understanding of Capital Markets and the impact of economic factors

The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $65K - $70K Base/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
