Mission 

• Are you passionate about bridging the gap between business and data? Do you want to play an active role in shaping how data is defined, governed and used across the bank?

Getting to knowOperations

Trainees on the Operations track have a crucial role in initiating and implementing changes that will contribute to INGs future. Youll use your analytical skills to tackle strategic business challenges and your creativity to design and implement tools and methods that deliver improved results. Successfully executing your vision puts you at the forefront of delivering on INGs strategy.

As a trainee, youll be fully involved in the business from day one and youre expected to quickly get to grips with the complex material. This is your opportunity to demonstrate how your analytical skills, customer focus, leadership capability and persuasiveness can help us to achieve real change within the bank.

What you bring to the team

• Master studies or degree from top universities (Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Finance) with excellent study results.

• Maximum 2 working years experience.

• Good knowledge of bank products and processes.

• Medium knowledge of SQL.

• Excellent problem analyzer and ability toidentifytheoptimalsolution.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to be able to align with various stakeholders.

• Enthusiastic personality, bringing pleasure and connection with Agile way of working in multidisciplinary teams.

• English Proficiency.

• Leadership or volunteering activities.

• International experience is an advantage.

• Endless Curiosity: You ask questions, seek out answers, and dive deep to understand how thingswork.

• You think critically, connect the dots & bring practical thinking to the table.

Whatwe offer

• Global events. Access to yearly 2-3 weeks global events with other ING International Talent Programme talents from all around the world (you will mainly be in Bucharest in the first 18 months).

• Job rotations. Insights in various business units during the first18 monthsand work abroad into one of our ING countries for 3 - 6 months(if circumstances allow).

• International onboarding. Following your local onboarding introduction, you will fly to our headquarters in Amsterdam for a two week-long international onboarding event (if circumstances allow).

• Trainings & learning experiences in different business lines to boost your knowledge and skill set.

• Mentoring. Experienced ING executives will support your personal and professional development through regular feedback and coaching.

• Specializedjob. After18 monthsof job rotations, you willstart inyour first dedicated assignment inBanking Operations.
