Our treasury settlements team, within the wider Treasury Operations and Payments service function has an opportunity for an experienced settlements Lead to coach and develop a team who predominantly looks after Treasury and Wholesale instrument settlements, along with some mortgage settlements.
This is an opportunity to support teams critical to INGs growth strategy, working closely with key stakeholders in a challenging role where your SME experience and leadership skills will be recognised and have impact. What youll do
Responsible for leading, developing the Treasury Operations and Payments Service team
Oversee operational activities, including team workload distribution and workload priorities, monitoring team productivity, leading team stand-ups among other team workflow tasks
Reporting (local and global)
Empowering a culture of continuous improvement and promoting new initiatives
Promote a strong risk and compliance culture ensuring incidents are identified and reported and investigated in a timely manner
What were looking for
Minimum 3 4 years senior experience across Treasury settlements and Payments
Knowledge of market instruments (i.e. fixed income, derivatives, Equities, FX)
People leader experience, coaching, and experience of delegating and demonstrating leading by lifting others
Ability to be decisive and effectively managing escalations with stakeholders
Sound understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance obligations
Systems experience with MS Office incl Excel and PowerPoint, RBA settlements, swift
Resilient under pressure, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
