About the position & department
The COO Wholesale Banking (WB) Americas is accountable for defining and executing the strategy for Operations, aligned with both the global WB COO and established regional business objectives. The departments goal is to optimize productivity, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency for all Wholesale Bank clients within the US remit.
The COO Domain enables the delivery of all Wholesale Bank products, including Lending Services, Financial Markets, and Capital Markets. WB COO Americas consists of Client Service Delivery, Operational Design, Control & Resilience, Regional Data Office, and Financial Crime Prevention functions. The department has multiple functional reporting lines to global COO and a hierarchical line to WB Americas.

Responsibilities:
As part of the internship the intern will meet with the members of the COO management team and gain an understanding of the role of the COO Department in the organization, the products we support, the systems and tools used to deliver services to clients.
As an intern, youll dive into one of the exciting roles within the COO Department. Youll play a crucial role in enhancing our processes, control environment and developing procedures and guidelines. Your efforts will ensure we meet regulatory requirements and deliver top-notch service to our clients. Youll collaborate closely with various teams, gaining invaluable experience and making a real impact!
Profile (What were looking for)
Undergraduate college student, graduating in 2028 in pursuit of a bachelors degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, or related field. Graduate students may also be considered for certain roles.
Liberal arts majors interested in careers in finance and banking are welcome to apply.
Experience / Knowledge:
- A knowledge of Microsoft (excel, word, power point)

Hourly Rate: $35/hour
