Your Tasks

• Automation, efficiency and a better customer experience in our GenAI squad, you help us use cutting-edge AI to build GenAI- and agentic-based solutions that solve complex business challenges and take our products and services to the next level.
• To this end, you provide the bedrock for our GenAI-based solutions. With an eye for detail as well as the big picture, you leverage cloud technologies to design and implement a deployment architecture where our AI doesnt just work, but thrives.
• You know that good implementation requires seamless integration: thats why you collaborate with cross-functional teams locally and globally to ensure our AI solutions work smoothly with existing systems and workflows.
• Naturally, you stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in GenAI and its tooling, evaluate what works, and apply innovative techniques to improve our GenAI capabilities.
• And of course, you actively share your expertise with colleagues, mentor and support junior engineers, and help foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics or similar with a strong quantitative profile
• Proficiency in the use of public cloud technologies for designing and implementing deployment architectures for AI systems (detailed Google Cloud experience is necessary)
• Knowledge of MLOps concepts, data connections and APIs, databases as well as security and access concepts
• Hands-on experience with AI, GenAI, LLMs or agentic AI with solutions that have already moved to production
• Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases and agentic AI frameworks or patterns such as ADK, LangChain, LangGraph or comparable approaches
• Sound understanding of software engineering best practices such as clean architecture, testing, versioning, documentation and maintainable code
• Strong Python engineering skills and confidence in building reliable backend services, APIs, databases and cloud-native components
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Proactive, self-steering attitude and a strong analytical, problem-solving mindset
• Capable of navigating and delivering in dynamic and regulated enterprise environments
• A passion for innovation and a feel for sustainable solutions
• Fluent in written and spoken English, basic German skills are a plus
