We are looking for you, if you:

  • have analytical thinking skills and an eye for details,
  • are interested in the personal development within the IT Security field,
  • have basic knowledge of maintenance, operation and/or administration in at least two of the following fields: networks, operating systems (Unix/Linux, Windows), databases, web,
  • have knowledge of computer networks and IT Security (OWASP TOP 10, MITRE) and experience with technologies like: SIEM, EDR / XDR, Elastic search, Public Cloud,
  • are experienced in logs analysis and their correlation between platforms,
  • English - B2 level at least (day to day communication with peers and stakeholders),
  • like the modern work environment and access to the newest technologies,
  • are a team player who enjoys working in a dynamically changing environment.

Your responsibilities:

  • security event analysis (scenario-based),
  • anomaly detection,
  • communication with various teams,
  • product maintenance and development.

You'll get extra points for:

  • understanding of IT Security related issues,
  • work experience in SOC (Security Operations Center),
  • experience in working with SIEM tooling (Security Information and Event Management),
  • programming and/or data management skills,
  • technical/security certification,
  • higher education (also during studies IT profile preferred),
  • ability to make decisions independently,
  • ability to work in a group,
  • ability to work under time pressure,
  • willingness to take up working in shifts (flexible schedule possibility to combine work and studies), IT working experience.

SOC L1 is great place for learning and gaining experience in the Security field, which is considered one of the most prestigious areas in IT.

Teams tasks include performing the analysis of security events as well as anomalies detection on the infrastructure, application and network levels during 24/7 mode. The main objective of the team is to detect incidents and ensure the ING Groups security, while constantly engaging in the process of improving the quality and effectiveness of provided services.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be Intern I.
