Full Job Description

The team
You will join the one of the teams within the CRO NL domain, based in Amsterdam. CRO NL is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring and managing ING Netherlands key risks, while safeguarding regulatory compliance, protecting the banks reputation and resilience, and enabling sustainable growth through sound risk management and decision-making.

We are increasingly leveraging advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions, including Co-Pilot agents  to improve efficiency, horizon scanning, and control effectiveness. You will collaborate with risk experts in a multidisciplinary, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agent Development & AI Solutions
    • Design and develop agent-based solutions to support NFR processes with Co-Pilot
    • Prototype and validate new approaches for automation in risk management
  • Data Analysis & Process Improvement
    • Analyze and process structured and unstructured data relevant to NFR domains
    • Translate and identify business problems into data-driven solutions
  • Research & Innovation
    • Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI, agents, and data science
    • Support knowledge or training sessions on AI within the different NFR teams
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with NFR experts, IT teams, and other stakeholders in ING NL and within Group NFR departments
    • Present outcomes, demos, and recommendations to the management team

Qualifications:

  • Master student in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience with machine learning, data analysis, or AI/LLM frameworks
  • Experience working with Microsoft Co-Pilot
  • Experience with prompt engineering and building agents
  • Interest in risk management, banking, or regulatory environments
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Proactive, curious, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
