INGA delivers, among other things, credit risk models, call and speech analytics, generative AI for risksummarisation, portfolio performance insights, and data analytics platforms (cloud andon premises).

The Domain

Retail Banking Analytics (RBA) drives advanced data and analytics capabilities across Retail markets.Our use cases span threemain areas:consumerlending,businessbankingandpersonalisation. Each area includes a broad set of productsfor example, campaign recommender engines, mobile customer churn solutions, and mortgage and lending pricing. In the coming years, RBA aims to significantly expand its offerings and scale the team. To support this growth, we need to evolve the engineering landscape to handle increasing demand.

Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Domain TechLeadto join us in Amsterdam. In this role, youare responsible forthe products and architecture in your domain, and for shaping the way of working and culture. You co-create the domain product roadmaps, helpestablisha fast path to production, steer the vision on components and architecture, and ensure implementations follow best practices and align with INGs tech landscape. You also buildcentraliseddomain knowledge, strengthen domain culture, and mentor otherengineers.

How to succeed

  • Mastersdegreeor equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working in a semi-remote, globally distributed team.

  • Strong understanding ofmachinelearningproject life cycles and data engineering.Experience designing complex IT landscapes, including governance, standards, andmethodology.

  • Knowledge of software and data engineering best practices.

  • Proven delivery and coordination skills (planning, reporting, dependency management); able toidentifyrisks and drive improvements across teams.

  • Able to work end-to-end across functional and non-functional requirements, collaborating with multiple teams (including infrastructure) to translate architecture into actionable designs and guide implementation choices.

  • Hands-on experience running machine learning engineering (MLE) workloads in public cloud environments (preferably GCP).

  • Advanced Python skills, with experience building data pipelines and applying model training/testing practices (e.g., feature selection and data quality validation).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Curious mindset; collaborative and passionate about helping others grow.

  • Experience coaching and mentoring others.

  • Experience in the banking and/or financialsectoris a plus.

  • Customer-centric mindset and ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into solutions and roadmaps.

  • Good understanding of market and technology trends; able to propose structural improvements towards target solutions.

As an IT Integrator you willneed

  • Excellent problem-solving skills to find creative ways to drive progress and remove impediments.

  • Strong analytical skills for aligning end-to-end solutions.

  • Ability to translatehighly complexsituations into digestible insights for stakeholders.

  • Ability to switch easily between details and a high-level overview.
