What does the Structured Export Finance (SEF) team do in ING?

SEF at ING is a global lending product focused on providing risk-mitigated financing solutions supported by Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and multilaterals. SEF aims to facilitate international trade, investments, and development and has a diversified portfolio across countries, sectors, and cover providers. The team develops and products provide origination, coordination, structuring, and execution for Korean ECA covered financing deals solutions for clients in cooperation with the sector specialists and relationship managers and works to maximize value for ING as well as clients subject to the capital efficiency and the risk factors.

What would you be doing?

You will perform a variety of administrative tasks including translation, preparation of report and presentations as a department assistant.

- liasing with internal & external stakeholders;

- assisting with review and data preparation for mandated deals;

- assisting in preparation of pitchbooks and maintenance of track records;

- monitor and follow up on any change/development of existing files and clients credit status;

-  ensuring, validating, and storing all required data and documentations;

- understanding related regulation and policies; and

- assisting in periodic reportings.

What qualities and skills are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria: 

  • Undergraduate student

  • Majored in business management, finance or economics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as well as Korean

  • Cumulative GPA should be above 80%.

  • Analytical ability to capture key information and identify risks

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to deliver to a high standard under pressure and short deadlines

  • Ability to multitask and manage a high number of priorities

  • Decisive reasoning to determine the best course of action in research/analysis

  • Good knowledge of MS office package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
