What does the KYC Outreach Team do in ING?

KYC Client Outreach function is responsible for supporting Know Your Customer (KYC) execution (primary: Financial Institutions and secondary: Corporates) in accordance with ING compliance policies and procedures. The role plays an important part as liaison between stakeholder groups involved in the delivery of KYC processes, including Customer Domain Units (CDUs), front office, compliance and operational groups across the organization.  An analyst will ensure that all required documents and data from clients are collected and stored in Vantage and as such delivered to the CDU for further processing. This is for both existing and new clients.

What would you be doing?

  • Manage the whole client data for upcoming due date and for balancing workload over time

  • Ensure that all required documents and data from clients collected and stored in Vantage and as such delivered to the CDU for further processing in line with regulatory and internal ING requirements, including FATCA, CRS, ESR (Environmental and Social Responsibility)

  • Support and educate clients on KYC initiatives of the bank and general KYC/AML requirements

  • Monitoring and supervision of KYC control environment

  • Validate provided documentation for reasonableness and completeness

  • Ensure high quality customer experience

  • KYC Client Outreach function is responsible for supporting Know Your Customer (KYC) execution (primary: Financial Institutions and secondary: Corporates) in accordance with ING compliance policies and procedures.

  • Perform ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time;

  • Understand roles, authorities, responsibilities and obligations of compliance and conduct their business accordingly;

  • Understand which of those are compliance related.

What qualities and skills are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria: 

  • University student;

  • Advanced MS Office skills;

  • Fluent in English and Korean, both verbally and written;

  • Ability to communicate well and work with people in different department at all levels;

  • Willingness to learn and participate in activities; and

  • Open minded and eagerness to challenge.
