Full Job Description

As a Data Centre Engineer at IMC, you will be joining a dynamic team of highly motivated professionals who strive to be the best at what they do by continuously learning, innovating, and improving. You will be working alongside a highly collaborative team in a high performance and technical environment. IMC will be investing in you from day one to grow and develop within the Infrastructure team.    

Your Core Responsibilities: 

  • Manage IMCs data centres with frequent travelling across APAC
  • Coordinate projects with our IT teams in Sydney
  • Provide racking and patching services in our remote data centres
  • Coordinate with vendors on deliveries, installation, etc.
  • Coordinate remote work with our brokers and exchanges
  • Procurement through our standard suppliers and global vendors
  • Data centre administration
  • On-site troubleshooting
  • Project Management

Your Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years experience in IT infrastructure roles;
  • Datacentre management experience;
  • Strong project management and organisational skills;
  • Good verbal and written communication in English is a must; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
  • Linux server experience and networking skills highly regarded;
  • Good understanding of hardware and hardware trends;
  • Flexibility to travel frequently, including during weekends;
  • Strong investigative analysis skills;
  • The ability to think critically in a high-paced, constantly changing environment; a sense of urgency is a must;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to leverage your colleagues s strengths with your own;
