Role Overview

This role is within the Business Unit Control team and will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of the Broker Compensation process flows and reporting. This role will have a primary focus on the calculation, accounting and payment of broker bonuses, helping to drive process efficiencies and substantiation of the Balance Sheet.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the Broker Compensation process, including:

1. Prepare supporting schedules for bonus accruals and calculations

2. Compile and validate data for bonus payments and payroll submission

3. Support preparation of Broker Equity deferral calculations

  • Perform basic reconciliations and tie-out supporting data to source systems Maintain and update process documentation and trackers

  • Handle data gathering and validation for reporting, forecasts, and audit requests

  • Escalate discrepancies, data issues, or control gaps to the Supervisor

  • Assist in process improvement initiatives through data analysis and feedback

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of tasks

Experience / Competences

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Working towards accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred

  • Min of 2 years of relevant experience

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Good organizational and time management skills

  • Basic proficiency in Excel and financial systems

  • Good communication skills

  • Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable
