Responsibilities:

The Corporate Banking Relationship Manager manages a portfolio of Local Corporate customers, with accountability for achieving business objectives, service, risk and operational delivery. These clients have varying needs from basic client service to more complex multi-product needs. As part of the challenging targets, the jobholder will have to identify and acquire new customers and grow market share/wallets from existing portfolios and achieve aggressive market penetration and financial targets as elaborated the below job dimension.

International Mid-Market (IMM) segment is broadly defined but is not limited to local companies with group annual sales turnover generally between USD 100 million to USD 1 billion and multi-jurisdictional operations.

The jobholder is responsible for managing portfolios of Corporate Banking Relationship in Jakarta. Decisions and actions must be taken within the parameters agreed with Line Manager and accordance with Credit Guidelines, policies and regulations issued by Bank Indonesia.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Extensive Corporate Banking experience with recent exposure in a front-line role, including exposure to sales, commercial lending, credit structures, risk assessment, trade finance, and cash management solutions
  • Evidence of building long-term customer relationships and achieving stretching revenue goals
  • Acquiring new IMM customers as well as protecting and growing share of wallet of existing international customers
  • In-depth understanding of the local market, including regulatory landscape
  • Proven track record of portfolio growth and new to bank business acquisition
  • Solid experience in frontline position
  • Proactive, customer driven approach, with a strong sales and marketing orientation and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Wide breadth of product knowledge
  • Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills with highly motivated and prepared to accept challenges mindset
  • Effective communication skills across all levels
  • Relevant Risk Management Certification
