Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Modeling (Actuarial).
In this role you will:
- Oversee actuarial model development and ensure compliance with applicable model risk policies and controls.
- Provide modelling support and subject-matter expertise to actuarial teams.
- Review and challenge model methodologies, assumptions, outputs and associated risks.
- Drive efficiency improvements across actuarial models, tools and processes.
- Support effective model governance, documentation, monitoring and issue remediation.
- Coach and guide junior colleagues, supporting their technical development and knowledge sharing.
To be successful you will need:
- Qualified actuary with membership of a recognised actuarial examination body.
- Strong relevant actuarial experience, preferably including hands-on experience in actuarial modelling and stochastic valuation.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply sound actuarial judgement.
- Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and prioritise competing demands effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex actuarial concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders.
