Within International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB), we serve 41 million customers globally, including 6.7 million who are international, from retail customers to ultra high net worth individuals and their families. We help our customers to take care of their day-to-day finances and to manage, protect and grow their wealth.

Our international network and breadth of expertise enable us to deliver on HSBCs purpose of opening up a world of opportunity by providing our customers with borderless banking and world-class wealth management through best-in-class, mobile-first capabilities and exceptional people. Our key areas of operations include Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Asset Management, Global Private Banking and Insurance.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

  1. Accurately identify customer needs and assist customers in completing transactions/services in a timely, accurate and professional manner through appropriate channels (including but not limited to: digital banking, call center, etc.)
  2. Assist branches in providing efficient, high-quality customer service and a satisfying customer experience.
  3. Perform KYC (know your customer) and comply with relevant laws and regulations to reduce operational risks. Be vigilant about potential risks associated with services and transactions (e.g. fraud, etc.), report and/or escalate risks and issues in a timely manner, if needed.
  4. Based on customers needs, identify sales opportunities and refer customers to sales personnel with the relevant qualifications for further discussion, portfolio/product review and service. Assist the bank in achieving its sales targets and wealth management strategies

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above (recognized by the state).
  2. Has strong sense of responsibility for work and excellent learning ability.
  3. Strong communication, client focus and influencing skills.
  4. Has organizational and coordination skill as well as strong self-motivation skill.
  5. Able to communicate well both in English and Chinese.
