From day one, you'll be part of a team that protects client investments and delivers cutting-edge post-trade solutions. You wont be shadowing youll be doing.

  • See the big picture: Understand how our post-trade services help connect clients to investment opportunities while making sure everything runs safely and smoothly.

 

 

What youll learn 

 

Youll join a dedicated product team, but your learning wont stop there. Youll gain insight across product development, client service, business management and risk.

Youll develop sought-after skills in:

  • Client management and stakeholder engagement
  • Change and product development
  • Risk and innovation in post-trade services
  • Communication and teamwork in a global banking environment

You'll also get the chance to connect with other interns and colleagues from across HSBC, giving you a broad network and deeper understanding of how we work.

Your first week is all about building your foundation. Expect structured training focused on both technical knowledge and professional skills so youre ready to hit the ground running.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing May 2027 
  • Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 or 3.2/4.0 (or overseas equivalent, as shown on your official university transcript/degree certificate)
  • Expected to graduate between November 2027 and July 2028
